Thursday, May 20, Open House for all to tour
Stevens Hall from 5PM-7PM, light refreshments.
Exhibits of past and present organizations with representation. Board of Selectmen’s meeting at 7 PM from
the Auditorium.
Friday, May 21, Open House again 5-7. Entertainment beginning at 7 PM with our
Humorist, Rebecca Rule – That Reminds Me Of A Story, Yankee Storytelling. Performance of Period Dance by Chester Dancers,
then musical entertainment by local orchestra, and vocals by Charlie Lindsey
and guests.
Saturday, May 22, Parade at 1 PM, antique cars, the mail wagon, CFD hand
pump, and bands (hopefully, Pinkerton’s).
Dedication of Girl Scout project.
Dramatization of the inception of Stevens Memorial Hall 1907-1910, Musical entertainment with local vocalists
(quartet, period music). Actual
Dedication of Stevens Hall with past
and current selectmen and state representatives, presentation of bronze
plaque for placement outside the building at a later date. Ice Cream Social and
music by Jeff Woodruff until the ice cream is gone.
